Become a Team Leader!
Team Leaders are essential to the success of
Volunteer San Diego’s Flexible Volunteer Program.
Without Team Leaders, Flex would not exist.
Team Leaders: - Are the primary contact at
each project
- Act as a liaison between Volunteer
San Diego and the organization where
the project
occurs - Respond to volunteer questions about their
project
- Greet volunteers and sign them in as they
arrive
- Ensure the project runs smoothly
- Complete
attendance and impact information after the project
Anyone can become a Team Leader as long as they
are: - At least 18 years old
- An active Flex
Member
- Willing to commit to leading at least 1
project a month for at least 4-6 months

Comfortable leading a group of diverse volunteers
- Accessible via e-mail
- Committed to making a
difference in the community!
