How to Create a Remote / Virtual opportunity
If your organization is currently
in need of volunteers for online research,
professional consulting, translations,
developing promotional materials,
data-entry, writing, editing, making phone
calls, etc., you definitely have potential
remote/virtual volunteer opportunities.
Remote/virtual volunteering is
convenient, beneficial and allows everyone
to contribute their time and expertise.
Are you good at communicating with your
volunteers via email and phone in a timely
manner? Do you have email and/or web
versions of all materials given
to volunteers at orientations? If you
answered yes to both of these questions, you
are ready to recruit remote volunteers.
